February 12, 2015 - New York, NY - This past fall, Grammy-award winning hip-hop artist Lecrae released his seventh studio album, Anomaly to critical acclaim. The album officially debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart as well as several other Billboard charts including, Digital Album, Rap Album, Christian Album and Gospel Album. As noted by Billboard Magazine, "Anomaly is the Grammy winner's sixth No. 1 on the Gospel Albums chart and his fifth leader on Christian Albums." Consequently this means that, "Anomaly is the first title to crown both Gospel Albums and the Billboard 200, and just the fifth set to lead both Christian Albums and the Billboard 200."

Since his album's debut, Lecrae has performed on The Tonight Show twice, performed around the country with Andy Mineo on his official Anomaly tour and most recently, received three Grammy nominations including Best Rap Performance (Drake, Eminem, Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar and Lecrae) - On Sunday, Feb. 8., he won his second Grammy award (Best Contemporary Christian Song/Performance) in the past three years. Also this past year, he made history as a co-headliner on Winter Jam, the #1 ticketed tour in the country (As rated by Pollstar).

The album features guest artists Andy Mineo, Kari Jobe, for King and Country and Crystal Nicole. Impressively the album's single "All I Need Is You" debuted at #1 on the iTunes Hip-Hop chart and predicted the eventual success of Anomaly.

Lecrae, known for his music message that is often at odds with his hip-hop peers, speaks of monogamy, contentment, and faith. While remaining true to his beliefs, Lecrae has managed to garner critical media buzz, release chart-topping albums and mixtapes, co-headline the highest ticketed tour in the country, draw several Grammy nominations and has already won two Grammy awards.

Lecrae has been praised by mainstream and hip-hop press alike with features in Time Magazine, The Atlantic, Huffington Post, Entertainment Weekly, XXL, Essence Magazine, Billboard and Vibe Magazine, among others. Radio personality and MTV News Executive Producer Sway Calloway recently proclaimed Lecrae's music as the "Evolution of Hip-Hop."

He's performed on the BET Network's Hip Hop Awards and the BET Experience, was featured on Statik Selektah's mixtape, toured with the famed "Rock The Bells Tour" and released a mixtape that soared to double platinum status on Datpiff garnering over 500,000 downloads. The mixtape, Church Clothes, debuted at #10 on iTunes as an EP, and charted on Billboard.

Gravity, Lecrae's last studio album broke industry records when it debuted with 70,490 units sold in its first week--making it the #1 Rap Album, #1 Independent Album, #3 on the Billboard 200, and earning Lecrae the Grammy award for Best Gospel Album. His previous album, Rehab, landed on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart debuting at No. 17, while reaching No. 3 on the Top 10 Albums chart on iTunes. In 2013, Lecrae released his follow-up mixtape Church Clothes 2. The mixtape was hosted by Don Cannon and executive produced by Street Symphony. It featured several artists including Grammy-nominated B.o.B., Paul Wall, Novel, Kevin Ross, Crystal Nicole, King Mez; label mates Derek Minor and Tedashii, as well as production from Grammy Award-winning producers Boi-1da, David Banner, ThaInnaCircle, Dirty Rice, Tyshane and more.

Lecrae's message spreads beyond his music, however. He's a guest speaker at several major conferences and speaks to many professional sports teams throughout the year. ESPN noted, "Lecrae is highly sought after by players around the league -- and even team chaplains - - for his prayer sessions. Lecrae either does them at the arena or stadium or the visiting team's hotel, typically starting two hours before the game and lasting 45 minutes."

The second half of the Anomaly tour, presented by Live Nation and Premier Productions, is on sale now. Featuring special guests Andy Mineo and DJ Promote, The Anomaly Tour kicks back off in New York, NY on April 9, 2015.
